Who it's for

Built for first-time project management learners

Whether you're switching careers, formalizing what you already do informally, or starting fresh — this course meets you where you are.

Career changers

Moving into project management from another field. The course assumes zero prior PM exposure and explains every term in plain English.

Working professionals

You've coordinated projects informally and want to formalize that experience with a credential that hiring managers recognize.

Students & recent grads

Enter the workforce with a credential that signals discipline, planning skill, and a vocabulary aligned with how teams actually work.

What you'll learn

Every domain on the exam, in proportion

The CAPM tests four official domains. Time spent in the course is weighted to match the exam's emphasis — not the topics that happen to be easiest to teach.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any prior project management experience?
No. The course is built for complete beginners. Every term is defined on first use, and the early modules build the vocabulary the later modules assume.
How is the course structured?
Six modules. Module 1 orients you to the credential and the exam. Modules 2 through 5 each cover one of the four exam domains in full — lesson by lesson, mapped to the tasks and enablers of the 2023 Exam Content Outline. Module 6 is a Project Integration capstone that ties every domain back together. There are 17 lessons in total.
How long will it take to finish?
Most learners working part-time finish in 8 to 12 weeks at three to four hours per week. Career-changers studying full-time often finish in three to four weeks.
What's included in the sample project?
A full Apex Innovations HQ Relocation project with all 16 artifacts: charter, PM plan, communications plan, scope statement, WBS, budget, schedule, Gantt, critical path, RACI, risk register, stakeholder register, lessons learned, issue log, change log, and a project dashboard. Module 6 (Project Integration) shows how these artifacts connect into one coherent project.
What if I don't pass the CAPM after taking the course?
The Cohort tier carries a pass-or-refund guarantee: complete every module, both practice exams, and sit the real CAPM within 90 days of finishing. If you don't pass, the course tuition is refunded.
How is the course updated when the CAPM exam changes?
Lifetime access includes free updates. The course is aligned with the 2023 CAPM Exam Content Outline and is updated whenever PMI releases a new ECO version.
